In 2024 we held a series of roundtables, in-depth interviews and surveys to understand how we could Democratize Design in our mega region. Democratizing Design is a WDC 2024 Impact project led UC San Diego, in partnership with CETYS University and The Design Academy. 2025 is a
a strategic focus on embedding design within the City of San Diego with a prototype & scaling model for continued regional innovation.
